Step-by-step guide to setting up events and managing subscriptions in the admin portal
Step 1: Accessing the event section
Once logged in, you will find the event section on the left side in the menu. Click on it and then choose "Add New."
Step 2: Adding basic event details
- Enter a title and description for your event.
- Select the language in which you want the event to be displayed on the platform. Note: Users who have their platform set to a different language won't see this event announcement. To ensure everyone is informed, copy your text into the other language options as well.
Step 3: Configuring extra settings
- On the right side, you can upload a thumbnail.
- Fill in a event name for internal use. This name will only be used for the admin portal and won't be visible to your employees.
- Add your visibility settings: when to publish this item on the platform.
- Set up the event details, such as the date and time.
Step 7: Activating the registration module
- You have the option to enable the registration module for your event. Start by determining the maximum number of participants allowed to register. You can either impose a limit, such as 10 participants, or permit unlimited registrations.
- Need additional information during registration? You can add a redirect URL to an existing form. After clicking the registration button, participants will be automatically redirected to complete the form.
- Additionally, you can activate a waiting list feature. Note: If a registered participant cancels, everyone on the waiting list will be notified, and the first individual to register will fill the newly available spot.
Step 8: Saving the event
Once all details are filled in, click "Save."
Step 9: Automated E-mail flow
Participants will receive automated notifications regarding their registration status. This includes confirmation of successful registrations, updates on cancellations, and alerts when a spot becomes available. Note: Please be aware that the ability to customize these emails may vary based on your subscription plan.
